Lilacs Are For Angels (With Lyrics)

As the peaceful crimson sunset sank low into the sea
On that country road that evening, it was just the birds and me
Then as if she came from no-where, a little girl was kneeling down
Her arms were full of lilacs that kept falling to the ground
As their fragrance filled the evening, I walked up and said hello
I think you have more lilacs then your little arms can hold
I’m not supposed to talk to strangers, that’s what my mommy said
But someone’s gotta to help me take these flowers to my dad
When I asked there came no answer, where would your daddy be?
She only talked of lilacs she had picked from granny’s tree
And then she told me how all by herself she had wrote her dad a song
And could I help her sing it; as we walked along
Pretty lilacs, they are for angels
Oh their fragrance they freely give
Purple blossoms, will bloom in heaven,
In the valleys on the hill where daddy lives
Through the trees I saw the answer, and the tears began to flow
There standing in the shadows I saw headstones row on row
She sang right up to the graveside spreading flowers all around
Whispering Daddy here’s your lilacs as she placed the flowers down
With her little hands she planted all the lilacs in the plane
I cried a million tears mam since daddy went away
But I must be strong for mommy; I tell her there’s no need to cry
Cause daddy he’s an angel, in the blue he’s flying high
The dark is quickly coming and mommy’s all alone
Before I go I thank you for the kindness you have shown
But that song I wrote for daddy once more I’d love to sing
And together in the shadows our voices clearly rang

The old saying goes, A few bad apples spoil the bunch. It could not be more true when you are thinking about getting into MLM. There are so many legitimate opportunities that have been spoiled by some MLM scams giving the business opportunity a bad name. Yes, there are legitimate opportunities out there, you just need to be able to tell the difference between the good businesses and the MLM scams.
MLM is a legitimate business model, but some people have chosen to create multi-level marketing scams from this model. You really can, with a lot of work, make good money with multi-level marketing business model. Also known as network marketing, you have an upline and build a downline while selling unique services or products. The problem is, while this model is legitimate, there are a lot of people creating MLM scams and illegal schemes that have smeared the MLM name.
So, what are some common MLM scams?
The most popular scam is very much illegal, and it is has been around for the longest time. In a pyramid scheme, a company will offer large profits if you invest in their program. Do you actually sell the products? No. This is one of those multi-level marketing scams where the money is paid in without you ever seeing any money for the products.
Another one of the most common scams is called a Ponzi scheme. This is similar to the pyramid scheme, but with one difference. With a Ponzi scheme there is not actually a product. The company promises you large returns if you invest with them, but they only take the investment to pay off the people who have been in the program longer.
With these type of scams the promises sound legitimate, but the companies will most likely take your money and run.
So what are the things you should look for to tell if you are dealing with one of those MLM scams?
First, ask if the company is more interested in bringing in new members than selling any product. After all, new members mean more competition, especially if there are not a lot of products to sell.
Also, beware of companies that want you to purchase a lot of product or inventory before you begin selling. Scams often require that you purchase items that are back ordered, or you will purchase the items and never see them.
Multi-level marketing scams often make preposterous claims about their products. The advertisements are extremely exaggerated, and if the ads sound to good to be true, they probably are. These exaggerations are most common with scams that promote nutritional supplements. So check into them carefully.
Do your research before you get involved in any network marketing to avoid multi-level marketing scams. Ask a lot of questions and take your time to think about the business. If someone is pressuring you to make an instant decision, you need to put up the MLM scams red flag. However, do not be scared away from MLM, because there really are some excellent opportunities if you can make your way through the MLM scams.
